Oh Spring...

It was a warm, sunny, family day. Got some stuff done around the house, literally. As in our yard and the outside areas. All day my dear husband asked to take a nature walk. Our little reluctant one kept saying he wanted to have "a home day", but as the sun began to lower in the sky, we headed out. We went basically around the corner to Lowell Ponds. Not the most scenic place, but it was close and wild enough for a short adventure. Spring is desperately trying to... well... spring. Little bits of green popped out of the thick grey and brownness of everything. Life was awakening and so were our hopes of a great season to come.
