As a 6th grader at RMSEL, Pax gets to study wolves this year!!! If you know him, you know this is right up his little zoologist alley. He is beyond thrilled to get to do a deep dive into this incredible species and their effect on ecosystems.
Next week his whole entire crew will be traveling to Yellowstone to see first hand how they are impacting the plants and animals of the region as wel as the National Park itself. I'm thrilled to have been selected to be a chaperone, so i get to go explore with them!!!
Anyway... before they head out for the big week of study, they got to go to a wolf conservancy and see some wolves a bit more up close and personal. It was so cool!!!! Unfortunately, I was not allowed to use my zoom in the conservancy, so I didn't get any amazing shots of the wolves themselves. But we had a great time and learned some very interesting stuff. Plus we got to howl with a gorgeous good boy!!
