Spring...

It is officially spring and we have been celebrating in grand style!

The season starts with visitors and birthday parties. I'll post that hoo ha later. Right now I want to enjoy the quiet breath we shared this weekend. With little on our agenda, we settled into our garden to feel the warm sun and smell the fresh dirt. We planted. It was good.

Adventure Sunday

It seems as though Sunday is slowly turning into Impromptu Adventure Day. We were all enjoying the backyard (Pax was playing, mommy & daddy were cleaning and fixing and general putzing around), when all of a sudden we were engrossed in the idea of a trip to Dinosaur Ridge. After a whirlwind of clothes changing and backpack filling we were in the car and headed ridge ward.

As we arrived, so did the wind. At a trillion MPH, we decided to trek the museum before heading on the hike. We were surrounded by bones and howling winds. We played, we explored, we shopped, we hiked as far as the parking lot. It may have been a short escapade, but fun was certainly had.
